Transportation Information
By High-Speed Rail (HSR):
Please disembark at HSR Miaoli Station. Then, either:
- Take the Miaoli Bus No. 5807A (Houlong–Hsinchu Line) directly to the university campus, or
- Take the HSR Shuttle Bus No. 101A (HSR Miaoli Station–Zhunan Science Park Line) and get off at the Yu Da University of Science and Technology stop, then walk into campus.
By Taiwan Railways (TRA):
1. Southbound Travelers:
- Disembark at Zhunan Railway Station (TRA). From the East Exit, transfer to Miaoli Bus No. 5811 (Zhunan–Houlong Line) to reach the campus directly, or
- Take HSR Shuttle Bus No. 101A (Zhunan Science Park–HSR Miaoli Station) and get off at Yu Da University stop, then walk in.
2. Northbound via Coastal Line:
- Disembark at Houlong Station, then transfer to Miaoli Bus No. 5807, 5807A (Houlong–Hsinchu) or 5811 (Houlong–Zhunan) to reach the campus.
3. Northbound via Mountain Line:
- Disembark at Fengfu Station, walk to HSR Miaoli Station, and transfer to Miaoli Bus No. 5807A (Houlong–Hsinchu), or
- HSR Shuttle Bus No. 101A (HSR Miaoli Station–Zhunan Science Park). Get off at Yu Da University stop, then walk in.
By Long-Distance Bus:
1. From Taichung via Coastal Route:
- From Yuanli Station, take Miaoli Bus No. 5808 (Yuanli–HSR Miaoli Station). Then transfer at HSR Miaoli to Bus No. 5807A or Shuttle 101A, and get off at Yu Da University.
2. From Hsinchu:
- From Hsinchu Railway Station, take Miaoli Bus No. 5807 or 5807A (Hsinchu–Houlong Line) directly to the campus.
3. From Zhunan Station:
- From the East Exit, take Miaoli Bus No. 5811 (Zhunan–Houlong), or HSR Shuttle Bus 101A and get off at Yu Da University stop, then walk in.
4. From Fengfu Station:
- Walk to HSR Miaoli Station, then take Bus 5807A or Shuttle Bus 101A to Yu Da University.
By Car:
1. Via National Highway No. 3 (Formosa Freeway / 北二高)
- Southbound: Exit at Zhunan Interchange (km 119). Turn left onto Route 1J towards Zaoqiao. Drive 1.3 km, turn right onto Mingsheng Road, go under Wufu Bridge, then turn left onto County Road 9, merge with Provincial Highway 1, and continue south to the 102.8 km mark, then turn right to reach campus.
- Northbound: Exit at Dashan Interchange (km 125). Turn right toward Zaoqiao, merge onto Provincial Highway 1, and head north toward Toufen. Reach campus at the 102.8 km mark.
2. Via National Highway No. 1 (Sun Yat-Sen Freeway / 中山高)
- Southbound: Exit at Toufen Interchange, turn left onto Zhonghua Road, then follow Ziqiang Road (Provincial Highway 1). Turn left onto Yongzhen Road (Provincial Highway 13), cross Jianshan Bridge, and follow signs toward Houlong/Tongxiao along Highway 1. Turn right at the 102.8 km mark to reach campus.
- Northbound: Exit at Touwu Interchange, turn right onto Provincial Highway 13, continue straight, turn right onto Provincial Expressway 72 (East-West Highway) heading west to Houlong. Exit at Xingang Interchange, turn right onto Gaotie 6th Rd, then turn right onto Highway 1 heading north. Reach the university at the 102.8 km mark.
3. Via Provincial Highway 61 (West Coast Highway / 西部濱海公路)
- Exit at Zhunan Interchange (km 93), head toward Zaoqiao, pass Wufu Bridge, turn left, and then turn right onto Provincial Highway 1. Drive to the 102.8 km mark to reach the campus.
